The Biohack Bar is not a concept developed by a hospitality consultancy. It comes from a decade of building, researching, and living this material — and a career that began with hands on bodies, moved through the science, and arrived at technology.

Jessica Charles is the founder of NuShape and Cellf — a decade-long body of work that began with two firsts: creating one of the very first red light therapy panels purpose-built for spas and wellness centers, and then pioneering the first wearable red light therapy device in 2015. Both innovations came from a practitioner background in massage therapy and energy work in Santa Barbara, and a conviction that clinical-grade technology belonged in everyday hands.

Since then, NuShape has reached customers in over 20 countries, introducing hundreds of thousands of people to photobiomodulation before it became a mainstream wellness category. Cellf extended that work into a full multi-modality recovery and performance ecosystem — the Multi-Therapy Mat, NeuroWrap, Alchemy Infrared Salt Sauna, Alchemy Arctic Plunge, and the Alchemy Hydrogen line.

Her work sits at the intersection of circadian biology, photobiomodulation, hormonal health, and functional nutrition. She currently consults, educates, and advises wellness venues and practitioners across Asia, Europe, and the US. As a woman-owned and managed business, NuShape and Cellf bring a particularly deep understanding of the specific wellness needs of women at every life stage — a perspective woven into every product and every formulation.

Her approach has always been the same: science first, experience second, product third. The Biohack Bar is the natural extension of that philosophy.
